Privacy

This website collects and uses your personal data in accordance with the rules of the current data protection laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. The protection of your personal information is our highest priority. Below you will learn which data we collect and in what form, to what extent you have a right to object, and how you can exercise this right. If your consent is legally required, this will be shown to you at the appropriate point and you will have the option to grant it or to refrain from granting it. Of course, even after granting your consent, you have the right to withdraw it at any time.

1. Data collection, processing and use

When you access our website, it is technically necessary to collect, process and use various data so that error-free communication between your internet browser (e.g. Internet Explorer) and our web server is possible. The following data is automatically collected and logged in a so-called log file until it is automatically deleted:

  • Date and time of access
  • The name of the retrieved file
  • The amount of data sent
  • A status message indicating whether the retrieval was successful
  • The web address of the referring website (URL)
  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system type and version

We collect this data in anonymized form, so that it cannot be attributed to any specific or identifiable person. This is done for the purpose of internal technical processing (establishing the connection), system security, the technical administration of the system and network infrastructure, as well as to optimize the internet offering and for statistical purposes.

Your IP address is only transmitted for the absolutely necessary technical communication with our web server and our shop system. Any further collection takes place exclusively with anonymization of your IP address. At no time is there any link between the IP and a person.

2. Pseudonymized usage profiles

Furthermore, we collect, process and use the data described above, which results from your access to our website, in pseudonymized form. This means that this data is assigned exclusively to an internal identifier. It is not possible to draw any conclusions about your name or other personal data. This data is also not merged should you register on our website using your name or place an order in our shop. These pseudonymized usage profiles help us to constantly improve by enabling us to design our offering to meet demand.

If you do not wish pseudonymized usage profiles to be created, you may object at any time. You can find out how to exercise your right to object under section 5. "Right to object and right to withdraw".

  • For technical session control
  • To store your individual settings
  • To recognize your browser
  • To process your order
  • For registration and login

Of course, you can also use our website without cookies. If you reject the use of cookies, you have the option of preventing the setting of cookies on your computer in your browser settings, or of being asked individually for each cookie whether you wish to allow it. You also have the option of deleting cookies that have already been set. Please ask your respective browser manufacturer for details. Please note, however, that blocking cookies may lead to functional restrictions of our offerings.

4. Right to information and data correction

You have a legal right to free information about your personal data stored by us at any time. Furthermore, you have the right to have incorrect data corrected, as well as to have data blocked and deleted.

If you have registered on our website, you may in part be able to view, correct and delete your stored data yourself.

If you would also like information about your personal data or have further questions about the processing or use of the personal data you have provided to us, or if you would like to arrange for a correction or deletion of your data, please contact the address given under section 5. "Right to object and right to withdraw".

5. Right to object and right to withdraw

You have the right to object to the processing and use of your data for the creation of pseudonymized usage profiles. You also have the right to withdraw consent granted to us – for example for sending you our newsletter. In this case we will immediately cease the processing and use of your data for this purpose. You can submit an objection or withdrawal at any time without giving reasons, informally by post or email.
